Dave's Bio
I earned my Ph.D. and a Master's degree (M.S.) in Metaphysics/Mind Science from American Institute of Holistic Theology. I also have a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and a Master of Religious Studies (M.R.S.) from NationsUniversity. I received my undergraduate diploma in psychology and religion from Harding University and have several years experience counseling in the addictions field at the county mental health level.
Regarding hypnosis experience, I have done to date approximately 1,500 hypnosis and personal coaching sessions with clients. I am not bound to any particular creed, orientation or system, but endeavor to value what each system offers toward personal and spiritual growth. I make every effort to be ecological, ethical and honoring while dealing with my clients and endeavor to work within your own personal belief systems.
Metaphysics
As I use the term, metaphysics is the study of the Nature and Power of the Mind. The unfolding of our True Nature is a personal journey in order to know, understand and accept that which we truly are, our real Being. Even as form, we are not simple form. There are an estimated 75-100 trillion cells in our bodies, a number so great as to be virtually incomprehensible when we try with our limited, conscious minds. As the Psalmist said, "Behold, I am fearfully and wonderfully made."
But, we are more than 'mere' form. Are we not mind, thought and energy? Are we light, soul and spirit? Whatever terms are comfortable to use. Are we finite or Infinite, limited or Limitless? What we are has been described in many ways. What more are we than we appear to be? Metaphysics is a method of discovering the 'what more' that we are. Every religion, system of philosophy and psychology, culture and civilization has, down through the eons of time, been pre-occupied, no, obsessed, with answering the foundational questions of existence:
"Who am I?" and "Why am I here?"
Each question searches for identity and meaning in existence.
Metaphysics is much more than merely a branch of philosophy. It is the journey, the discovering and utilizing of the
Power of the Mind,
our True Identity and our True Heritage.
We are much Grander, more Magnificent and Precious,
each one of us, than even we can imagine at present.
